I specialize in color, foils and highlights of every shade. I have an eye for style and pay close attention to detail and a passion for beauty and fashion.
I attended Concorde school of hair design 36 years ago, after my schooling I studied precision haircutting in Redbank. I worked in Manalapan for three years, then based myself for 19 years out of Champoo’ salon later to be called  Salon Darson. After I gave birth to twins, I came closer to home, I started working in point Pleasant in Salon Topez till I joined with Edie and opened The Blonde and The Brunette Hair Studio. I have traveled across the country too many amazing places, learning, and studying and training to keep up with all the newest and latest styles… When I’m not working, I love to spend time with my children and grandchildren. I also love traveling ,I have a huge passion for gardening and garden designing, and the biggest compliment I have received, was being chosen to be 1 of 11 homes on the garden tour in Brick.

Hello, my name is Edie, I’m Owner/Master Stylist.

With over 40 years as a stylist ,my passion for hair grew as little girl, following my aunts around their hair salons. I love working with dimensional colors to make classic looks that turn heads in and out of the office .

I believe education is key to success! I attend classes to update my arsenal of knowledge several times a year. When I am not behind my chair updating someone's look you will find me spending time with my family, gardening , crafting , camping and traveling our beautiful country.

Hello! My name is Christina. I’ve been a licensed cosmetologist since 2006 in NJ and NC. I went to school at Capri Institute in Brick. I started to pursue my career in 2020 when I moved back to NJ. I am certified in Keratin Treatments and also in Amplify Hair Extensions. I have been continuing my education further and proceeded to learn about new techniques and styles.

My name is Kayla, I grew up in Brick, NJ and graduated from Brick OCVTS in 2017 with my license in Cosmetology. My whole life I have always dreamed of becoming a hairdresser. I have watched my mom from the time I was a little girl and the first time I held a comb I knew I had a passion for it. My name is Alyssa and I've been a licensed cosmetologist since 2009. I specialize in Barbering, haircutting, occasions styles, hair coloring, fashion colors, keratins, and custom colors. I have over 15 years of experience. I knew from the moment I stepped foot in my cosmetology classroom that this would be my passion. I started out at the mall at aesthetics hair salon, was there for about a year and then moved to Odyssey hair salon, which is where I built my clientele and was there for about seven years until we abruptly closed in 2018, which is when I found my forever home at The Blonde and The Brunette Hair Studio and have worked here for five years.

Hi, I’m Nancy and I’m a Hair Stylist with over 50 years of experience. My specialty is permanent waves , color and weekly styles that include roller sets and blow dry styles.

Regina is our Salon Coordinator. She has been answering phones, scheduling appointments, and greeting clients since March of 2018. She truly enjoys getting to know so many of  clients and working with an amazing group of professionals.  Regina strives to ensure that your visit to the salon will meet your expectations.

Susan is our Salon Coordinator. When a client enters the salon, her contagious smile greets you with a welcoming, “We are glad you are here!” feeling. Susan strives to ensure that your visit to the salon will meet your expectations. She wants to make sure the customer’s needs are being met. Whether it is at the front scheduling appointments or assisting clients with product questions, she always makes herself available.
